A Legacy of Excellence
Established in 2006 with just two students in Neelankarai, Kalalaya International Institute of Dance and Music Trust have grown exponentially over the past two decades. Under the visionary leadership of Ms D Sealucksea alias Yazhini, the institute has expanded to 25+ locations across Chennai and overseas, nurturing over 5000+ students and carving successful careers in the arts.
Kalalaya’s dedication to excellence is evident in its numerous accomplishments. The institute has successfully organized numerous Salangai Poojai, Arangetram ceremonies, cultural festivals, society events, competitions, and Government programs, celebrating the achievements and progress of its talented students.
In recognition of its outstanding contribution to the arts, Kalalaya was honoured as the “BEST DANCE & MUSIC INSTITUTE” in Tamil Nadu by the Global Peace University USA for the years 2019-2020. Furthermore, Yazhini’s exceptional leadership and vision in building a thriving institution earned her the prestigious “BEST ENTREPRENEUR” award from the South Indian Women's Achievement Awards (SIWAA) in 2019-2020.
